Flights and Holidays in Spain

Spain, getting there
The popular holiday destination of Spain is well served with cheap flights from many of the budget, charter and scheduled airlines. With direct flights departing from all of the main UK airports (Gatwick, Manchester, etc.) and regional airports (Liverpool, Blackpool, and others) to the popular destinations such as Barcelona, Alicante, Ibiza and Menorca. You won't have to travel far to find yourself a bargain flight.

Spain as a holiday destinations
As for Spain itself, with the chilly Atlantic Ocean on its northern side and the warmer Mediterranean Sea to the south and east, it's a country which is diverse with memorable scenery, with it's lengths of sandy beaches and plenty of culture, food, clubs and resorts it's a guarnteed holiday hotspot with holidaymakers returning year after year to its shores. And on top of all this there are very many cheap holiday and cheap flight deals available, in particular at the start and ends of the holiday season there are plenty of last minute flight and holiday deals available.
In spain the Costa regions, most notably Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca and Costa Dorado are traditional hotspots for their sun and sand. Whilst the more well developed resort loke Benidorm, and Fuengirola will appeal to all age groups. Even in winter Spain is still a good holiday destination and the flights are really cheap at this time of year, as along the Mediterranean coast the winters are mild.

Balearic Islands
The Balearic Islands (such as Menorca, Majorca, Ibiza) are only a two and a half hour flight away from the UK as they are located around a hundred miles to the east of Spain. As with spain these islands have an excellent climate and around 300 days of sunshine each year, although they cater specifically to the summer season and you will be hard pushed to find flights or hotels that operate outside of the main holiday season. Of the islands Ibiza is famed for its white sandy beaches and clubs whilst Menorca is more suited to families and relaxing holidays. Whilst Majorca in general manages to combine the best of both as Magaluf attracts the younger crowds, however pockets of the island still remain peaceful and picturesque. All the islands have flights which operate directly to them from most UK airports.
